Jaymo Eguilos scored 11 to lead Jumbo Plastic despite only taking 6 shot attempts, and was the lone double-digit scorer for his team.

Abel Galliguez scored 11 of his game-high 22 points in the third quarter to lead the Cagayan Valley Rising Suns to its third straight win in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup during Thursday’s main event game against the Cebuana-Lhullier Gems, 79-76.

Galliguez also received help from former Adamson Soaring Falcon Don Trollano, who finished with 21 points, and Rey Mabulac, who put up 12.

The Rising Suns trailed by as much as 17, 29-12, in the first half before using a 13-2 run to open the fourth quarter to take the momentum and lead.

Cagayan Valley has won all its games this conference despite the absence of 2014 PBA D-League top overall pick Moala Tautuaa, who is expected to make his debut in his team’s next game.
