Import Liam McMorrow finished with a monster statline of 26 points and 28 rebounds to lead Barako, who went ahead 25-14 after 12 minutes of play and cruised the rest of the way to victory.  

Dylan Ababou led Barako locals with 17 points, while JC Intal and RR Garcia produced 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Playing without key guys Jayson Castro and Ranidel de Ocampo, the Tropang Texters were spearheaded by import Steffphon Pettigrew’s 23 markers. Jay Washington also played well, putting up 18 points. 

Talk ‘N Text, who beat Ginebra on Sunday, May 10, fell to 1-1.
