Barangay Ginebra will don new kits in the upcoming PBA season when it defends its Philippine Cup championship.

The Gin Kings unveiled their “One Ginebra Nation” jersey and cap on Thursday, April 22 as they give their fans another set of collectibles all the while supporting a good cause.

A portion of the sales of the limited-edition jerseys and caps will be donated to poverty-alleviation movement Gawad Kalinga.

Beneficiaries of the program include fishermen of Barangay Bagumbayan in Pililla, Rizal and farmers of Sariaya, Quezon.

“It feels overwhelming that we are able to help,” said Ginebra star guard Scottie Thompson in a press conference. “For the fans, they are helping and getting a jersey and a cap out of it.”

Fans can avail the jersey in redemption outlets nationwide by exchanging 6 caps of Ginebra products and adding P100.

The cap can be purchased with 6 bottle seals plus P150. – Rappler.com
