A championship ring for Barangay Ginebra, a wedding ring for Greg Slaughter.

The PBA big man tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Schinina Juban in a civil ceremony on Thursday, December 10.

Slaughter shared the news on social media by posting a photo of him in a barong and Juban in a wedding dress while seated in the backseat of a car.

The wedding came a day after Ginebra won its first Philippine Cup crown in 13 years with a five-game conquest of TNT.

Slaughter, though, did not join Ginebra in its All-Filipino campaign as he took a break from the PBA after his contract with the team expired last season following their Governors’ Cup title.

Ginebra head coach Tim Cone said he hopes to have Slaughter back on board next season as they defend their throne. – Rappler.com
