MANILA, Philippines - Make that 23 for the Philippines.
The Philippines increased its Southeast Asian Games gold medal tally on Friday, June 12 after the team of Dustin Mella, Raphael Mella and Rodolfo Reyes Jr. earned top honors in the men’s team poomsae event with a score of 7.850.
Rinna Babanto of Cebu took home silver in the women’s individual poomsae event. Sim Chelsea of host country Singapore earned gold with an 8.000 score.
Singapore also topped in the men’s individual poomsae as Rui Jie Kang scored 8.135 to earn another gold for the SEA Games overall leading nation, while Vietnam bagged golds in both the mixed pair and women’s team poomsae event. - Rappler.com
