MANILA, Philippines – The checklist is getting completed one by one.
World champion Carlos Yulo didn’t break a sweat as he dominated the men’s artistic gymnastics floor exercise event in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum on Tuesday, December 3.
The 19-year-old star gymnast scored 14.700 in his pet event to grab his second medal in the regional meet.
Thailand's Tikumporn Surintornta picked up a silver with a score of 13.833 points, while Zul Bahrin Mat Asri of Thailand settled for bronze with a 13.767 mark.
Yulo – whose routine in the same event secured him a historic crown in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship last October in Germany – bagged his first gold in the all-around event two days ago.
Other Philippine bet Reyland Capellan also competed in the event but failed to land on the podium as he scored 13.433. – Rappler.com
