Thirdy Ravena won't see action indefinitely in the Japan B. League after suffering a fractured finger

San-en NeoPhoenix confirmed on Sunday, January 3 that Thirdy Ravena suffered a right hand injury in San-en’s 81-80 loss against the Sun Rockers Shibuya on Saturday at the Aoyama Gakuin Memorial Hall in Tokyo.

According to the team statement, Ravena sustained a “right 4th finger metacarpal oblique fracture.”

The San-en Asian import Ravena left the court in the 3rd period after hurting his right hand during a loose ball situation and did not return the rest of the game. 

Before the injury, Ravena had 6 points and 4 rebounds in 18 minutes of action.

The team stated that Ravena will undergo a detailed examination and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation will be provided. 

Ravena is expected to make a full recovery although his return to play is still unknown. 

“We will inform you as soon as the result of the detailed inspection is known,” said the team.
