Earlier in the competition,  Earl Benjamin Yap, Joseph Benjamin Vicencio, and Paul Marton Dela Cruz settled for bronze in the team compound tournament while Dela Cruz also snitched a bronze in the individual category. 

The 15-year-old archer Tagle also delivered a successful podium finish with a silver medal.
