MANILA, Philippines - The De La Salle University Green Archers attained a major piece for their future as San Beda Red Cubs star Andrei Caracut announced that he has committed to play college basketball at La Salle.

Caracut was the finals MVP of the recently concluded Jr. NCAA basketball tournament, where he led San Beda to their sixth straight title.
The Red Cubs star scored 30 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in game 3, helping seal the win and championship for his team.
The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 14.7 PPG, 5.4 RPG, and 3.7 APG during the elimination round.
Besides Caracut, Batang Gilas shooter Jollo Go has also committed to La Salle. Like the San Beda standout, Go is also a guard, making the two the potential backcourt of the future for the Green Archers. – Rappler.com
