#HulingSigawTamaraw, #GoUSTe trend worldwide as FEU wins UAAP title

MANILA, Philippines – The new kings of the UAAP have been crowned. 

The FEU Tamaraws win their first UAAP senior’s basketball title in 10 years on Wednesday, December 2, at the Mall of Asia Arena after defeating the UST Growling Tigers in three hard-fought games.

Game 3 of the UAAP Finals dominated the trending topics on microblogging site Twitter. Shortly after the game, hashtags #HulingSigawTamaraw and #GoUSTe became the top trends in the Philippines. Players like Mac Belo, RR Pogoy, Russel Escoto were also included in the list, including FEU head coach Nash Racela and 'Talo UST.'

The top hashtags, together with Mac Belo and Mike Tolomia also trended worldwide.

The netizens were quick to use Twitter to express their thoughts about the series. FEU fans rejoiced the victory of the Tamaraws. Here are some of the tweets:
