Despite being ranked lower than their opponents, both USPF and USC come away with the wins

CEBU CITY, Philippines – Underdogs ruled for the day as the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers and the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors outlasted both high school and collegiate teams of the University of Cebu (UC) to post their second wins this season of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc (CESAFI) on Tuesday, September 13, at the New Cebu Coliseum.

It was a day of upsets for UC as both the USPF Panthers and the USC Baby Warriors were teams ranked lower than them.

He was also prolific in other areas such as pulling down 4 boards, and making 4 steals and 1 block.

Finishing in double figures for the Webmasters were Justine Dacalos and Garciano Puerto who had 15 and 13, respectively.

Topscoring for the USC was Steven Mendoza who finished with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block. Although he fouled out with a little more than 3 minutes remaining in the ballgame. Also contributing to the Baby Warriors win were Gerald Inigo and Clint Anthony Octaviano who had 12 markers each.
