The Jaguars, on the other hand, remain at the second spot with an 8-3 slate following their loss to the Green Lancers.

The second canto had the Green Lancers pulling away to as much as 14 points before settling to a 10-point advantage, 40-30, at the halftime break.

The Green Lancers continued to lord it over the Jaguars in the third quarter until MVP contender Jaybie Mantilla sparked a 12-0 run that brought them at just a point behind, 44-45.

Josue Segumpan managed to wedge a gap for the Green Lancers with a triple, however, Ralph Jude Dinolan tied the game at 51-all en route to the Jaguars enjoying a slim one point lead, 57-56, going into the final canto.
