Teams from collegiate swimming powerhouse San Beda College (SBC) dominated the first day after notching medal finishes in the events in each of the three divisions of the tournament.

Twelve-time titlists San Beda senior men’s swimming squad garnered a total of a total of 457 points edging rivals from the College of Saint Benilde (CSB) Blazers who only got 157.

Gunning for their fourth straight championship victory, the women’s swimming team of SBC snatched 408 points to lead foes CSB with 224 points and Emilio Aguinaldo College 138 points.

The winning ways of the swimming program of the Mendiola-based school continued as their younger stalwarts from the high school department swam away from defending champs La Salle Greenhills Greenies by grabbing 330 points as against the latter’s 194 points.
