WATCH: EAC-Mapua NCAA game ends in brawl
An all-out brawl between the EAC Generals and Mapua Cardinals resulted in all but two players being ejected from Tuesday's game

MANILA, Philippines – An all-out brawl ensued during the second game of the NCAA’s double-header schedule on Monday evening, September 22, at the San Juan Arena.

Towards the end of the matchup between the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals and Mapua Cardinals, EAC point guard John Tayongtong shouldered off a Mapua defender, to which a Mapua player responded by pushing Tayongtong to the floor. The confrontation quickly escalated when the original defender was knocked to the floor by a Tayongtong right hook.

Some of the arena bouncers and coaches were seen trying to stop the altercation, but weren’t able to right away.

The game was halted and deemed final with 28.5 seconds left as the Generals wound up winning, 86-77.

All players save for Joshua General and Jessie Saitanan were ejected from the contest and will receive one-game suspensions, according to Philstar.
