MANILA, Philippines—The San Beda Red Cubs on Monday, July 2, clobbered the Lyceum Junior Pirates by an astounding 171-14.
PBA anchor Aaron Atayde posted the final score via his Twitter account.

The win (and the final score) obviously didn't come as a surprise at all. At halftime, the score was already at 92-2.

This isn't the San Beda Juniors' squad's first impressive win in the current National Collegiate Athletic Association season. Last week, they won 104-70 over Arellano University.
It also isn't the first time the Red Cubs ended up clobbering an opponent. Twitter user Nardy Madrasto (@NardyM) posted this piece of trivia on Twitter:
The Red Cubs actually also beat Lyceum 163-28 last year.And in 2008, SBC-Taytay won over Angeles University Foundation Baby Danes 168-24.

The Red Cubs' dominance isn't completely unexpected; they emerged champions of the last NCAA season with a clean 18-0 record at the end of the eliminations.
Their only loss of the season came during the Finals series against the La Salle Greenhills Greenies.
