NU moreover comes in first place at the Group Stunts category while also winning different awards, essentially sweeping the competition

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Why not add more history?

The National University Pep Squad reigned supreme once again in the annual UAAP Cheerdance Competition, coming in first place for the fourth straight year on Saturday, November 19, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

With perennial contender UP opting not to participate in this year’s competition, NU was expected to defeat the 6 other schools and lived up to expectations with a performance which had little to no flaws and was impressively executed.

FEU and Adamson came in second and third places, respectively.

National U was the only squad to score above 700 points, finishing with 711. FEU, which had 658.5 points, barely scraped by Adamson’s 655.

UST wasn’t so far behind at fourth with 650 points, while UE placed sixth with 645.

La Salle and Ateneo finished as the last placers with 560.5 and 512 points, respectively.

NU also came in first place in the group stunts category, while UST and FEU rounded off the top 3.
