FEU captures three peat in UAAP women's football
MANILA, Philippines- The Far Eastern University women's football team clinched their third straight UAAP football crown after holding off the University of the Philippines women's squad, 2-0, at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium on Sunday, March 8.

The ladies of UP, however, refused to go down without a fight as a penalty was awarded to their side after an offensive barrage inside FEU's box.
Alexandra Navea-Huff took the shot and converted the only point for UP during the finals affair.
Meanwhile, De La Salle University's Inna Palacios was given the best goalkeeper award, UP's Cristina Delos Reyes was hailed as the best midfielder and the best defender trophy was awarded to FEU's Dolino.
Four top strikers namely UP's Delos Reyes and Rose Obra, Ateneo's Camille Rodriguez and FEU's Dolino were named as the best strikers of the collegiate women's football tilt.
DLSU's Chelo Hodges was named as the rookie of the year while her alma matter was handed the fairplay award.
To round up the special awards of the tournament, another accolade was clipped by Lady Tamaraw Dolino as she was proclaimed as the season's MVP. - Rappler.com
