The best and most prominent NBA players take center stage in the 2021 All-Star festivities to be staged in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, March 7 (Monday, March 8, Manila time).

Unlike past editions, all All-Star events will be played on the same day at the State Farm Arena due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Events include the All-Star Game – which pits Team LeBron against Team Durant – Slam Dunk Contest, Three-Point Contest, and Skills Challenge.

Sixers’ Embiid, Simmons out for All-Star Game

Philadelphia 76ers stars Joel Embiid of Team Durant and Ben Simmons of Team LeBron will not play in the 2021 NBA All-Star Game after being in contact with an individual who tested positive for the coronavirus.

Embiid and Simmons reportedly met their barber, who tested positive for the coronavirus, before flying to Atlanta for the All-Star Game.

There are no replacements yet for the two.

Instead, New Orleans Pelicans sophomore Zion Williamson will move up the starting lineup of Team Durant, taking the spot of Embiid.
