Panaga’s attacks blazed through the Lady Stags’ defense as she registered 10 kills and likewise showcased her defensive prowess with 7 blocks. Navarro built her output on 10 attacks and a couple of blocks as well.

Benilde dominated most of the contest, held  at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan, but San Sebastian put up a fight in the second set, leading to a deuce. But the Lady Blazers regained control in the third set as the Lady Stags sputtered to just 11 points.

Kym Ramos and Melanie Torres had 6 points apiece as Benilde capitalized on 18 San Sebastian errors while keeping their own miscues to a manageable 9.
