The Philippines' Team Renovatio is off to the world stage as the Southeast Asian contingent of the Heroes of the Storm 2016 Spring Global Championship

MANILA, Philippines – Philippine fans of Heroes of the Storm have much to be happy about, as a Philippine team will be representing Southeast Asia in the Heroes of the Storm 2016 Spring Global Championship.

The Philippines’ Team Renovatio swept the Philippine Qualifiers and the National Finals to take on other talented players from across the region, eventually winning the Southeast Asian leg of the 2016 Spring Global Championship.

Team Renovatio (actually the first of two Philippine Renovatio teams that reached the Finals) is made up of the following players:

  • John “Harharrr” Ichikawa
  • Neil “vyy” San Juan
  • Giovanni “Hyskoa” Ong
  • John “Miseryprox” Hernaez 
  • Ronel “Stronger” Tan

Team Renovatio will be one of 12 teams that will be facing off in the Spring Global Championship event, which will be held from April 1 to 3 in Seoul, South Korea.

With a prize pool of $500,000 up for grabs in the Spring Global Championship, you can be sure that the stakes will be high and the battles heated.
