Microsoft enthusiast WalkingCat reveals some leaked videos of the new Paint on Twitter

MANILA, Philippines – Microsoft’s Paint app has long been a staple of the Windows brand, but some leaked videos on Twitter are pointing to a new, revamped Paint app that may have additional features in the future.

The Verge reported Friday, October 7 (October 8, Manila time) about a version of the Paint app that has a fresh coat of paint, so to speak.

Meant for Windows 10 users, this update to the Paint app comes with new brushes and tools and the ability to make 3D drawings.

The news follows reports from Microsoft enthusiast WalkingCat (@h0x0d on Twitter), who revealed the videos on his Twitter feed.

The new version of Paint appears to have been made with Microsoft’s Surface Pen in consideration. The app appears to support new touch-capable actions and tools.

Microsoft is likely to show off more of the revamped version of Paint at its October 26 event in New York. The company is also expected to show off a new Surface device, one which can utilize the new Paint with ease. –
