MANILA, Philippines  – A cheaper version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has arrived in the Philippines as Mi Store Philippines announced on their Facebook page.

The Redmi Note 5, which has gained traction because of its solid specs and good price, originally launched in May in the Philippines for P11,990. That was a version with 4 gigabytes (GB) of RAM.

They both have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip like the 9,995-peso Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1), 5.99-inch full HD LCD screens, dual rear cameras (12MP+5MP), and a 13MP front camera. Both will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and sport a 4,000mAh battery. – Rappler.com
