Samsung teases new flagship phone for March 1
Samsung appears to be gearing up for a new flagship device, and it looks like one with a curved edge
MANILA, Philippines – Samsung began sending out invitations for a new Unpacked event slated for March 1, promising at least one big reveal: a potential curved flagship phone.




The Verge reported that the event would take place on March 1 at 12:30 PM ET (1:30 am of March 2, Manila time), ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The announcement appeared set to coincide with an expected HTC reveal of its own new flagship phone.

The decoded invite image, tweeted by Hamad A Alajmi, points to a curved-edge flagship device for Samsung.

Samsung recently announced its first drop in annual net profit in 3 years, and warned that it expected 2015’s “business environment… to be as challenging as 2014” due to competition from cut-price Chinese mobile manufacturers. – Rappler.com
