In a tweet on Wednesday, June 23, Twitter announced it had made a new feature available for iOS users, allowing them to share tweets to Instagram using the share feature on Twitter.

The feature will let users share tweets directly to Instagram’s Stories, removing one barrier towards using both systems at once.

In its report, The Next Web noted this interoperability used to be available – Instagram users could cross-post images onto Twitter without issue, but the support for that capability was removed in 2012.
