UnionBank on Tuesday, January 19, announced the launch of a new banking app designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The app is designed to be an “all-in-one access platform that caters to every Philippine SME’s needs, ” said UnionBank. Through the app, business owners can open their own checking account online easily, which will be available and ready to use within the same day without having to fill out forms or visit a branch. It also has features designed to help SMEs manage their financial operations.

The app will also connect SMEs to banking solutions such as SeekCap and UnionBank GlobalLinker. SeekCap lets business owners apply for a loan while the UnionBank GlobalLinker will help SMEs manage their inventory and teams, while also getting access to “knowledge about the local landscape, as well as expand their network all in one place.”
