Move over Angry Birds, we have a new favorite (albeit frustrating) feathered friend

MANILA, Philippines – Don’t let that little 8-bit bird fool you. He may seem harmless but Flappy Bird has taken the social media world by a storm, igniting tempers everywhere.

The game’s premise is simple. You’re a little yellow bird that flies by tapping the screen. Fly through the green pipes without hitting anything and you get a point. Sounds easy, right? Wrong.

For some inexplicable reason, your fingers could never tap fast enough, green pipes come out of nowhere, and the bird decides to nosedive just as you’re about to beat your best score.

Like Candy Crush, the game is addictive and seems to have no regard for your self-esteem whatsoever. But don’t worry. You’re not the only one threatening to chuck your phone at a wall and cursing the universe for conspiring against you. Even the best of us is not spared from the frustrating madness that is Flappy Bird, as these celebrities and personalities show you:

Host and model Bianca Gonzalez and baller JC Intal

Actress Anne Curtis

DJ and host Mo Twister

Host/Comedian/Actor Vice Ganda

Actor Chuckie Dreyfus

Basketball players Jeric and Jeron Teng

Comedian Ramon Bautista

Band Boyce Avenue
