Huawei is entering the desktop market in the Philippines with the launch of the MateStation S, its first desktop solution in the country, on Thursday, March 18.

The desktop launch follows the introduction of its MateBook laptop line in the country back in 2020. Reports that Huawei would enter the desktop market began in early 2020, with the brand eventually launching them under the MateStation name later that year in China.

The MateStation S has an AMD Ryzen 5 4600G, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and Windows 10 Home OS. It is set to retail for P30,999 (tower only), and will be as a pre-order from March 19 to 25 on the Huawei online store, Lazada, and Shopee. Pre-order purchases will net buyers a free Huawei wired keyboard priced at P2,999, a Huawei mouse priced at P599, and a Huawei AX3 WiFi router priced at P3,999.

The MateStation S is also available as a bundle with the 23.8-inch Huawei Display for P38,998 at physical Huawei stores, and will come with the pre-order freebies as well. The Huawei Display is also set to retail individually for P7,999.

The MateStation S also has NFC connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.0. – Rappler.com
