Samsung may discontinue its Galaxy Note line of smartphones next year, a report from Reuters – citing 3 sources familiar with the matter – said on Tuesday, December 1.

The sources, who declined to be identified because the plans were not public, said Samsung did not have plans for a new Galaxy Note iteration for 2021.

Samsung will instead focus on the Galaxy S Series, of which the S21 version will reportedly have a stylus.

Meanwhile, Samsung will also be offering a foldable phone compatible with stylus use, with another source saying development efforts meant for the Note would instead be used towards working on the foldable phone line. The stylus for the foldable phones will be sold separately as well.

Samsung declined to comment on the Reuters report. – Rappler.com
