The PS5 60 FPS framerate update for 'Ratchet and Clank' is available right now

PlayStation 5 (PS5) owners who picked up a copy of Insomniac Games’ 2016 title Ratchet and Clank on their PS4 – either through purchase or as part of Sony’s Play at Home campaign – were happy to hear that an upcoming April update would improve the framerate for the game on the PS5 and bump it up to 60 frames per second (FPS).

Strangely enough, the developers bumped up the release date for their PS5 60FPS… to a day after their original announcement.

Insomniac Games tweeted early on Wednesday, March 31, that the 60 FPS update for the game had gone live, and invited players to “get blasting” on the PS5.

Insomniac Games added the 60 FPS adjustment should be automatic once the patch completes on users’ PS5 units. Just make sure it’s updated to version 1.08 and you should be good to go.

Ratchet and Clank is currently available to download for free on the PS4 as part of the Play at Home campaign, and will remain available till April 1, 11:00 am Manila time. – Rappler.com
