American-Japanese giant robot duel set for October 17

MANILA, Philippines – A duel between American and Japanese giant robots will be livestreamed for the world to see on Tuesday, October 17. 

The United States' Megabots Inc. announced its duel between its Megabot Mk. III and Japan's Kuratas machine by Suidobashi Heavy Industry slated for 7:00 am PST of October 17.

The duel will be broadcast live on Twitch.tv and will be replayed on other social media platforms at its conclusion.

This giant robot battle has been a long time coming. 

Megabots Inc. challenged Suidobashi back in 2015, and it's taken two years to formally set up this match between the two.
