Aside from kid-friendly features, the toggleable Kids Mode also lets users set an allow list for possible sites to visit, while Bing's SafeSearch is set to strict

Microsoft on Tuesday, February 16, announced it was testing a Kids Mode setting for its Edge browser, which is available right now specifically for US English versions of the browser on Windows and MacOS.

Kids Mode has a number of child-friendly features such as mainlining kid-friendly content on the browser and the ability to have custom browser themes.

For parents, the features include having an allow list for browsing under Kids Mode, having Bing SafeSearch set to strict, and forcing a password check to exit Kids mode.

Kids Mode does not require a child account or profile, as it’s a toggle available on any account in the profile switcher mechanism on Edge.

Windows Central reports the rollout of Kids Mode on Edge will be available for Edge Insiders using the Dev and Canary channels.

More information on Kids Mode is available on this information page. – Rappler.com
