MANILA, Philippines – Sony sold more than 30.2 million PlayStation 4 (PS4) units worldwide as of November 22, according to a statement the company released Wednesday, November 25.

The company previously said the PS4 sold 22.3 million units in its lifetime back in April, based on end of March sales.

Speaking of the development, Andrew House, President and Global CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., said the company was “sincerely grateful that gamers across the globe have continued to choose PS4 as the best place to play since launch two years ago.” (READ: PlayStation 2 emulation being developed for Sony’s PS4)
