Twitter now offers video capture, sharing in direct messages
The new feature is currently only available for iOS and Android, but those using Twitter.com can still share videos via DM

MANILA, Philippines – Aside from the ability to search for GIF images on Twitter, the social media site is also adding one extra feature for users: the ability to capture and share videos in direct messages.

Twitter made the announcement on Thursday, February 18, adding that this feature is currently available only on iOS and Android for now.

That means PC or Mac users with webcams may have to wait a bit longer for the ability to capture video directly via the website version of Twitter for their direct messages.

Twitter added in a separate tweet, however, that users can share videos in direct messages via Twitter.com.
