MANILA, Philippines – Jawbone has sold off the remainder of its UP line of fitness trackers to a third-party reseller in a bid to maintain enough revenue to operate, a report on Friday, May 27 (May 28 in Manila) showed.

The report from Tech Insider, citing sources familiar with the matter, added it was unclear if Jawbone would continue making the UP 2, UP 3, and UP 4 fitness trackers.

Sources in the report also said the company has discontinued its bluetooth speaker business, selling the remaining inventory as well.

Jawbone has not released a new flagship fitness tracker in over a year, despite raising $165 million in January. – Rappler.com
