Vivo launches V7+ for P17,990

MANILA, Philippines – Vivo together with its new batch of endorsers including the likes of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo unveiled its latest offering at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, last September 20.

The V7+ boasts a 5.99-inch FullView Display and an 18:9 resolution, significantly
improving the user’s visual experience and is said to give an edge in mobile gaming.
Despite the “Plus” in its name and its new display, the phone still feels easy on the
hands and ergonomic. Coupled with its front shooter is a 16MP rear camera capable of taking bokeh portraits, where the background is blurred to add focus to the subject. 

Both cameras have an aperture of f2.0, making it good for group selfies and allowing more to fit into frame. Face Beauty 7.0, the latest version of Vivo’s photo enhancing software is said to be running on a new algorithm providing better lighting and skin complexion in photos and now even in video calls.

Specs and other features
Running on a Qualcomm octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM, the V7+ has the new
Smart Split 3.0, designed for quick and easy multitasking. The feature lets users who are watching videos to split the screen and run other applications without pausing what they are watching. There is also Game Mode which prevents incoming calls and messages from interrupting a game session.

The V7+ houses a 3225mAh battery, 64GB of storage with up to 256GB external
expansion, dual-SIM support, and an AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip said to capture the rich bass notes when boosting its speakers up to 3-6dB of external volume. It runs on
Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Rounding it up is the facial recognition security feature that permits users to unlock their phones through face scanning, which worked pretty well in the stage demos.

The V7+ comes in Champagne Gold and Matte Black and is available for pre-order
