‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ will have every character from the series’ history

MANILA, Philippines – Nintendo at its Nintendo Direct for E3 2018 on Tuesday, June 12 (June 13, Manila time) revealed there were few limitations behind which characters you could enjoy playing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

From Mario and Luigi, to Cloud Strife and Megaman, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will have all of the characters ever presented in the series’ history, with tweaks to how each of these characters perform.

Echo Characters – specific characters which have similar movesets to other characters, but whose moves act differently in battle – were also confirmed. 

While there aren’t as many new characters in the game, they did reveal Metroid big baddie Ridley and Splatoon’s Inkling as being character additions to the game.
