Netflix, Telltale doing 'Minecraft' series, 'Stranger Things' game
MANILA, Philippines – Telltale Games and Netflix are teaming up for two projects, with one being a Netflix adaptation of Telltale's adventure game Minecraft: Story Mode and the other being a Stranger Things game.
The Minecraft: Story Mode adaptation is set to be a 5-part series, with interactivity similar to some of its existing children's offerings, such as Stretch Armstrong: The Breakout and Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale.
Meanwhile, the Stranger Things video game will be a title on Telltale Games' roster of adventure game offerings.
Separately, we're thrilled to confirm that Telltale is developing a game based on Stranger Things that we'll publish to consoles and computers at a later date. (2/3)— Telltale Games @ E3 (@telltalegames) June 13, 2018
Not much else has been said about both offerings, though both Netflix and Telltale Games are expected to reveal more "later in the year," according to a Telltale tweet. – Rappler.com
