Hideo Kojima’s ‘Death Stranding’ arrives November 8
Aside from the release date, the trailer video on the PlayStation account brings some new gameplay footage and more mysteries

MANILA, Philippines – Hideo Kojima, the man behind the Metal Gear series of video games, has been hard at work on his latest title, Death Stranding.

Kojima revealed a new trailer on Thursday, May 30, that announces the release date for the game, while still remaining relatively cryptic about the very nature of the game he’s been working on.

The nearly 9-minute video on the official PlayStation account reveals some additional details on the game, along with the November 8 release date.

Kojima said on Twitter the theme of the game was about connecting people who have become isolated in their own societies by allowing your character Sam, played by Norman Reedus, to bridge different disconnected cities.

“Through your experience playing the game, I hope you’ll come to understand the true importance of forging connections with others,” Kojima wrote.

Reedus is joined by a star-studded cast, including Lea Seydoux, Guillermo del Toro, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Kotaku, in its report, added the release of Death Stranding in November may also bring some additional breathing room for further work on another long-awaited title: The Last of Us 2, which may be releasing in early 2020 instead of this year.  – Rappler.com
