MANILA, Philippines — Huawei unveiled what it is calling the world’s fastest mobile WiFi hotspot at its Unlock Possibilities Event at the 2014 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday, February 23.   

The Huawei E5785 looks very much like the usual MiFi device but has built in integrated carrier aggregation technology promising download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of 100Mbps with supported networks. 

Up to 10 devices can connect to the device via WiFi on 802.11 a/b/g/n and 802.11ac bands. The device also works as a portable battery pack using a technology called reverse charging. It’s 3000mAh battery is rated to last up to 10 hours on a single charge.
