MANILA, Philippines — Samsung officially announced its latest flagship smartphone the Galaxy S5 at its Unpacked Episode 1 event at the 2014 Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, Spain on Monday, February 24 (February 25 in Manila).
Samsung’s new smartphone looks very much its predecessors the Galaxy S3 and S4 with the same rounded corders, aluminum band and plastic construction but distinguishes itself with a faux leather back plate with a perforated patter, similar to the Galaxy Note 3.
