Camera+ free via US Apple Store app till November 16
There's a way to get a popular camera app for free, but only if you can grab the US Apple Store application
MANILA, Philippines – Camera+ for iPhone is a camera app that gives you more control over your photo and lets you edit your shots in a way you thought only desktops could.

While it does cost $2.99 in the iOS App Store, Apple is giving it away for free for users of the Apple Store app until November 16, 2014 for US users running iOS 7.0 or later.

Camera+ offers exposure and focus control, image stabilization, continous lighting for photo and a handy 6x digital zoom among others. It also lets you use effects created by photographer Lisa Bettany or go manual with how the photo will look like using the app’s powerful editing feature. After that, you can publish them straight into Flickr, Twitter or Facebook.

The main hurdle is being a US app store user. You must first download the new Apple Store app, which is currently regionally restricted to the US.

After that, run the app and select the ‘Stores’ tab on the bottom.

Scroll down a bit to see the offer from Apple. Click on the Camera+ logo, then choose the ‘Download now for free’ button on the introductory page.

It will warn you that you will be redirected to the old App Store, so just click ‘Continue’.

Once on the iOS App Store page, click on ‘Redeem’ at the upper right corner of the page.

Petapixel reports that the promotion is easy to pull off on their iPhone running iOS 8.

Coupled with the innovations on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus’ cameras, this app is a must-have if you want to take your iPhone photography to the next level. – Rappler.com
