Ragnarok Online PH to close March 31, migrations to follow
The pRO migration website will be disclosed as soon as possible, with server migration information and the procedure for migration to be announced in the next few days

MANILA, Philippines – It’s going to be a sad month for many online gaming fans in the Philippines, as Level Up! Games announced Friday, February 13, that Philippine Ragnarok Online (pRO) will be shut down on March 31.

According to the the pRO website, the Philippine localization of the massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) Ragnarok Online will be discontinued, but Level Up! Games and International Ragnarok Online (iRO) host Warp Portal are working on a way to save the accounts of users and migrate them to the international servers.

The Warp Portal announcement for the migration noted that a new server will be set up for pRO players and “have the same settings as the Renewal Chaos, and the latest updates.” Renewal Chaos was a system-wide revamp of Ragnarok Online instituted back in 2010.

Warp Portal added that War of Emperium times on the new iRO server will also be set to better accomodate Philippine players.

The pRO migration website will be disclosed as soon as possible, with server migration information and the procedure for migration to be announced in the next few days. Rappler.com
