Rappler’s video journalist and feature video director Franz Lopez, who is an avid photographer, hosts PhotoRap. Lopez also organized a nonprofit community of visual creatives called Born In Film, which has grown to more than 11,000 members worldwide.

Born in Film is featured in this year’s Ortigas Art Festival, where Lopez and his friends organized an exhibit for photographers from the Philippines and around the world. With the theme “The Beauty of Everyday,” thousands of photographers – both professional and amateur – sent in their work across different mediums and genres.
