MANILA, Philippines – Everyone’s favorite Happy Meal has a new mascot… and what a scary one it is!
“Happy” the mascot has actually been around since 2009 when McDonald’s unveiled it in France. Here are some of Happy’s commercials:
Europeans may be used to this strange face by now, but since the fast food chain announced it would be rolling out this overly-happy red box to the United States, things got pretty wild online.
Proving that change is never met without a few memes, netizens have shown their disdain for the devious looking mascot.
