What would Apolinario Mabini say if he had a Twitter account?

MANILA, Philippines – Wednesday, July 23, is the 150th birthday of Apolinario Mabini, one of the country’s foremost historical figures. Dubbed “The Sublime Paralytic” and the “Brains of the Revolution,” the wheelchair-bound Mabini has made quite an impact on Filipinos then and now. 

It was through Mabini’s stirring prose that many Filipinos were inspired to fight for their freedom from Spanish colonizers. But what if he were constricted to Twitter’s 140-character word limit? What flashes of insight or commentary on society would he impart if he lived in the age of social media?
