MANILA, Philippines – What colors do you see on this dress?

Today, it seems the Internet can only ask this one question. Whether on Tumblr, Facebook, or Twitter, #TheDress is all anyone can talk about.

Tumblr user swiked uploaded this post seeking help from the science side of the blogging website to explain why she and her friends couldn’t agree on what colors the dress actually was.

So began the great Internet divide with some people seeing a blue dress with black lace while others seeing a white dress with gold lace.

And today a dress color debate goes viral.

The torment of not knowing drove one man to go around the train to ask different people what colors they saw:

Even more confusion comes from those who claim that when they first looked at the dress, they saw white and gold, but it suddenly transformed into blue and black:
