'Master, pa-edit po': Photo of PH presidents turned into memes

MANILA, Philippines – How do you make an already epic photo even better?

On Wednesday, July 27, Rappler posted the photo of 5 Philippine presidents standing side by side – current president Rodrigo Duterte with former presidents Joseph Estrada, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Fidel Ramos, and Benigno Aquino III.

We took out the original background and issued this challenge: "A historic photo deserves an equally important background... Send us your most creative version in the comments!"

And, as always, netizens did not disappoint with the creatively altered photographs they sent in!

Here are some of our favorite ones:

In one altered picture, Ramos was replaced by former senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago – his opponent in the 1992 presidential elections. Santiago had accused Ramos of cheating back then, and the netizen who edited the photo probably wishes Santiago won instead.

This isn't the first time that social media users played around with an already awesome presidential photo.

Last June 30, the day of Duterte's inauguration, Malacañang released a photo of the President and his children at the Palace:

People were quick to work their magic on it:
