TikTok on Tuesday, May 25, announced new tools to help creators combat bullying on the platform.

The new tools will allow creators to delete comments or report users in bulk who they feel violate the platform’s community guidelines. Reports and deletions can be in batches of up to 100.

To do so, users can long-press on a comment on their video or tap the pencil icon in the upper left corner. From there, they can select up to 100 comments or accounts rather than the traditional way of doing it one by one.

TikTok says the feature is rolling out globally “over the coming weeks.”

Prior to these tools releasing, TikTok also recently introduced similar initiatives, such as a way to display only comments creators choose and a prompt encouraging users to rethink posting a “potentially unkind comment” on a video. – Rappler.com
