Twitter on Thursday, June 3, launched its first-ever subscription service Twitter Blue in Australia and Canada for iOS users.
The paid service will provide features and perks such as folders for bookmarked tweets; an “Undo Tweet” feature that delays the posting of a tweet for up to 30 seconds in case the user wants to edit or delete; and a “Reader Mode” that turns tweets “into easy-to-read text so you can read all the latest content seamlessly.”
“Subscribers will also get access to perks, such as customizable app icons for their device’s home screen and fun color themes for their Twitter app, and will have access to dedicated subscription customer support,” said Twitter in its blog.
The company also said that the features were developed based on feedback from their own “power Twitter community.”
The service is priced at $3.49 CAD ($2.88 USD) or $4.49 AUD ($3.44 USD). The company hasn’t announced plans when the service might launch in other territories. – Rappler.com
