Hands on with the new Magazine UX (user experience) available on Samsung's new Galaxy Note Pro and Galaxy Tab Pro tablets

LAS VEGAS, USA – Samsung introduced a new user interface for the new tablets it released at CES 2014.

Magazine UX makes use of the additional tablet screen real estate and provides an experience that’s a cross between Flipboard and Microsoft’s live tiles.

Magazine pages replace the default home screen and can be filled with up to 6 widgets per page including a calendar, social media apps, and news articles.  The interface is fully customizable but you are limited only to the apps currently available in the customize menu.

Magazine UX is available on the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro (8.4-inch, 10.1-inch and 12.2-inch). All four tablets run the latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
